UI Design

User Interface design and Iconography

QluQuest is two games in one: The mental challenge is a quiz game that is based on careful observation of video content and the physical challenge of a runner game where the player has a chance to earn bonus currency.

I worked with Create Neptune to design and illustrate all the visuals in this game, including UI design, tiles for an infinite map and articulated animated characters.

Highlandia is an English-Language Learning Game, developed by Create Neptune for a California charter school. This game consisted of 10 mini games some of which used off the shelf 3D assets. I designed and created all of UI and 2D assets needed throughout, including a multi-tiled map, and isometric art of world sites and other buildings that could be purchased in the shop..

Beast Boxers is a beastly take on a classic 3D boxing game. I designed the UI, logo and icons for this mobile game that unfortunately never made it to final production.

Math Mayhem is a multi level engaging way to improve your mental math skills. I created the logo, all of the UI elements and character art used for simple 2D animations.

StarSarterRx is a gamified ADHD Digital Therapeutic, developed for a digital pharmaceutical Company. Based on some very basic gameplay I wrote 2 complete narratives that give structure and meaning to the main actions required in the game. I created the logo, all of the game art and all of the UI. Below are just a few of the screens that were created.

The images in the animation below were just a few taken from storyboards created to help illustrate my narratives.

ThoughtWorld is an immersive social network, developed to engage users in current events. As votes on those ideas increased or decreased users saw either growth or contraction of the assets in the virtual world..
As Senior Look Development Artist I was tasked to create, refine, and implement art for the ThoughtWorld mobile app and ThoughtWorld.com platform. I helped to conceive the look and feel of the site, and created both 3D and 2D assets for our digital world.

Spore was one of Will Wright’s most ambitious and anticipated games from Maxis/EA Games. From Single Cell to Galactic God, you could evolve your creature in a universe of your own creation!
I was brought on to the project less than a year before it was scheduled to release. I supported the Senior and Junior UI designers, creating some menu panels and iconography for main control panels, weapons, tools and the Spore Creature Creator - a major feature in the game.
